International workshop on CRISPR/ Cas 9 & /13 for Gene Editing and Nucleic Acid-based Molecular Diagnostic” during 6th-9th of January 2025.

The Faculty of Life Sciences and Biotechnology announces International Workshop on “International workshop on CRISPR/ Cas9 &/13 for Gene Editing and Nucleic Acid based Molecular Diagnostic” 6-9th of January 2025.

About the workshop

Our 5 days workshop will provide hand-on training in knocking out of target genes in mammalian cells using highly efficient CRISPR/Cas9/13 system. Cas13 will be used for the Nucleic Acid based Diagnostic. Attendees will learn designing of CRISPR/Cas targets using bioinformatics tools, construction of sgRNA, generation and validation of gene knockout cell lines and nucleic acid based molecular diagnostic.
